| boker tov. (good morning) all is well in Tel Aviv. We leave for travels tomorrow around the country to end with 5 days in the Old City, Jerusalem. It is wonderful to be back in the country. I would move here in a moment if given the chance. Cheers to you all. What else to say? Tel Aviv is the most modern and most recent city in Israel. Think disco clubs, beaches, and shopping. A contrast to what one might think of traditional Israel. It has been interesting to observe this city with all it's felicities and quirks. | | |
| Upon reading an excellent and interesting article in the Globe and Mail (May 16, 2007, Careers C5) on the role of blogs in the business world (blogs becoming business cards and resumes) I have decided to start a new blog for literary discussion. Depending on interest, it may only be me talking-- but you're invited to join in! Check it out at: The Daily Literati | | |
| Scenario: If you had ten days with nothing to do-- what would you do with your time? Your limitations: No road trips. No concert halls or plays to attend. No old bookstores to hunt through. No beach shores to walk along. No mountains to climb. No rivers to kayak on. So-- what creative, fantastic and funkadelic ideas would YOU come up with? | | |
| one more thing to do. then-- toodleloo. I'll be on the road Jack. I will come back. For more, for more, for more, for more. I'm on the road Jack. | | |
| Today I saw three young adults out biking in my neighborhood. One of them, if you can believe it, was text messaging on her cell phone. One hand on the handle bar, the other cradling the precious piece of techno-trash. Her eyes were mostly glued to the screen. Way to enjoy nature. I hope a bird pooped on her cell phone, and then her head. Sunday was Earth day. What did you do to celebrate? What did I do, you ask? Hiking. Elk Mountain. A real beauty. | | |
